10 Movies For Your Christmas List

I have done movie reviews consistently throughout my blogging journey. This year I decided to share ten movies for your Christmas list. I consider these movies to be wholesome family movies worth watching together. All of them provide proper morals and are great family entertainment. I did not put them in any particular order.

When the Game Stands Tall

I thought that I had already posted a full review of this movie. However, it’s one of those movies that leaves you feeling all fired up and ready to take on the world together. It also leaves you feeling warm inside, knowing there are still good people in this world.

God’s Not Dead

This movie is one of those movies that you will remember for the long haul. I wrote a complete review of this movie—> HERE!

Mom’s Night Out

If you have followed my blog at all since I had the pleasure of seeing this movie before it came to the theaters, then you know this is my favorite movie for 2014 thus far! You can see my full review of this movie —-> HERE. I promise you this is one movie that is worth owning because (this is from the woman who only watches a handful of movies repeatedly) you will want to watch it more than once. This is my go-to movie when the kids have driven me up a wall and back. I’ll tell my kids, “Mommy needs a time out. It’s Mom’s Night Out time.” Now the problem with this logic is they love this movie as much as I do!

Buck Denver Asks… Why Do We Call It Christmas?

This movie is really cute. It’s a great resource for teaching the kids a bit more details about the true reason behind the season. You can check out our full review of this movie—-> HERE.

Heaven Is For Real

Heaven is For Real is a good little movie. It is a bit eye-opening when you watch it, for sure. I didn’t write up a full review of this movie, but I honestly should have. It was a touching movie that the kids and I enjoyed watching together.

I’m In Love With a Church Girl

I totally adored this movie. It’s one that I feel many teenagers should watch. You can find out a review of it —-> HERE.

Iesodo: Faith

This is a really cute movie. We totally enjoyed the entire Iesodo series. You can read our review of this one—-> HERE.

My Mother’s Future Husband

I saw this movie on UPTV with my kids. You can find my review of it —-> HERE.

Son of God

This is a movie that you won’t forget once you’ve seen it. I got to read the book for this movie and enjoyed it immensely. The movie has also received many rave reviews too.

The Identical

This movie was one that my mother-in-law really enjoyed watching. She would recommend it to others for sure. You can read her review of it ——> HERE.

You can get all of these movies on sale on Family Christian’s website by clicking ——-> HERE. Have fun Christmas shopping!

Which one of these movies did you enjoy watching this year?

Disclosure: Family Christian did sponsor this post, but as you can tell, we have truly enjoyed these movies long before this post came about.

I'm Crystal. I'm married to Dale, and mother to Johnny. Some might say that my life is perfect because I get to do all the cliché wife things like cooking, cleaning, and decorating - but there's more! I also have many hobbies including needlework (crochet), sewing, and reading. My son's education is important, so we homeschool him together.

    • When the Games Stands Tall came out yesterday on DVD. Did you happen to get the chance to watch it yet? If/when you do, I’d love to hear your input on that one too. I am glad to see we have the other two in common. I am sure you’ll find a lot of other movies in my review mixture that you’ll enjoy as well. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I look forward to seeing you stop by again.
