This movie is a wonderful family movie. I hestitated to rent it for a long time because I honestly didn’t I’d enjoy it to much. However, it was a very good movie. It reminded me of the Free Willy series. However, this one is very real. It was also based on a true story.
My kids (and niece) literally watched it back to back almost without hestiation and gave it their full attention. It made for a good opening to talk about science and animals in nature. We did some more research on this true story. We found this article about the actual whales that were rescued in 1988 http://www.adn.com/3745 .
