Wife2Wife Spouse Take Over Questions

My wife decided that she wanted me to do this guest post because she wanted to take part in the Wife2Wife blog post hop this week. The theme was having their husband’s do guest posts or at least answer the below questions. I decided to do it for the blog. Plus I’m curious what the other men’s answers were.

Wife2Wife Blog Post Questions

1} What first attracted you to your wife? A feeling that I can’t explain is what first attracted me to my wife. You know the feeling that it’s just right.

2} After a long day what does your wife do that helps you relax/remind you that she loves you? This is a hard question to answer… Nah, seriously, she allows me time to play my video games without interruptions by the kids or her.

3} What is your favorite thing to do with your wife?  Besides our intimate encounters of the adult persuasion that I will not get into right now, it would be our date nights.

4} What is something your wife does or doesn’t do that you want her to do more of? I wish she would “let me be her pony.” It’s one of the things I miss her doing since she’s had kids. She doesn’t feel confident enough to do it like she used to, and I keep trying to persuade her that I still would love to have that luxury!

5} If you could compare your love story to any book or movie, what would it be and why? I’m sort-of a movie buff and own over 3,000 movies and have seen way more than that. I would have to say I could not compare my story with my wife to not one movie I’ve seen. It would be demeaning or belittling to our story to compare it to something else just because of the circumstances that took place between me and my wife.

6} Where would you go if you could have another honeymoon? If it was including the kids, it would have to be Universal Studios. If it’s without them and with no time constraints, I would say Australia.

I’d love to see you get your husband to answer these questions and link up with us too. My wife will tell you I have a bit of a curious side to me too.

Please leave a comment if you get him to do it.

    • Del is getting more into writing posts. He’s getting prepared to have to do it quite often with our new site we’re getting ready.

    • I honestly didn’t expect my husband to do it, but I caught him in a good mood and bored (which is VERY rare for him!)

  1. Great questions. I have to agree with everyone who says these look like great date night conversation starters. Both fun and enlightening.

  2. Loved the answers to the questions. I like to see how much my husband and I differ/are the same when we answer the same questions from time to time!

    • I do too. When I was dating Del, I’d get those magazines with the quizzes in them and I’d go through them and answer them. Then I’d call him up and have him answer them. I was always shocked by the results.

    • Maybe one day. My best friend from high school lives there. Sometimes I forget how much he adores me, and it’s nice to hear an outsider able to see it.

  3. I think a lot of men would answer some of those questions the same – I know my hubby complains after kids I am not the um, same, I was before lol.
I will have to see if my hubby will answer these for me and post them. LOVE IT!

    • I was surprised by his answers too. It really touched me. I hope you’ll let me know when you have it live if he does it.

  4. Aww so sweet and sincere! I LOVE your answers, especially that your love story could not be compared to any movie or story book. That is truly beautiful and shows how much you treasure your special adventure together, making it a magical journey day by day, cherishing every curve along the day. .. I’d love to get my hubby to answer these questions.. we’re celebrating 22 years of marriage next month 🙂

    • Congrats on celebrating 22 years of marriage. Had I not messed up and been the run away bride, we would be celebrating 16 years of marriage in July.

  5. How sweet and what wonderful questions! I think that your love story cannot be properly portrayed in a movie or book is just so romantic and a true testament to your marriage. I will have to ask my hubby these questions 🙂

    • I’d love to hear his answers. That touched me in so many ways because we’ve had a very LONG rocky bumpy and emotional ride to get to our happy ending.

  6. That is so clever an idea to do. I should do this with my husband and see what he says. I think you have a great husband that he will answer these questions.

    • I do have a pretty amazing husband for sure. I jumped on this idea because I thought it was pretty cool. I was shocked that Del answered the questions so willingly.

  7. Great questions, better answers! How amazingly sweet that your husband was willing to answer those on your blog. You’re a lucky woman!
