St. Patrick’s Day Educational Ideas

As I was trying to think of some St. Patrick’s Day Educational ideas I remembered that I was given full access to CHSH in exchange for a review, and barely have slowed down enough to look at since I got it. When I got their email newsletter today, it reminded me that I needed to check them out some more. Low and behold they have plenty of St. Patrick’s Day educational ideas for me to choose from.

About CHSH

I first learned about CHSH (ChristianHomeschoolHub.com) through another homeschooling resource. At first, I didn’t think there was a lot to the site, but after I finally figured out the website layout I realized I was missing out on quite a bit of resource.

This website has workbooks, worksheets, planners, and a whole slew of other resources for parents to use with their preschoolers all the way to 12th graders. I like that it can be a go-to resource for ALL of my kids and even my personal needs for our homeschool year.

St. Patrick’s Day Educational Ideas

As a result of searching CHSH, I found resources for each one of my kids.

For Zeva, I got the Preschool St. Patricks Day workbook.

For the boys, I got them the chance to learn about the history of St. Patrick’s Day with this Reading Comprehension assignment.

Those are just a few ideas of things to do using CHSH’s website. I’m sure you’ll find a bunch of other ways to benefit from having a membership with this site. It only cost $25.00 a year and you can get your money’s worth with just two downloadable workbooks.

Other St. Patrick’s Day Educational Ideas

You can make a rainbow cake while teaching about the primary and secondary colors.

You can give your kids a scavenger hunt of green items that are related to topics that you’re currently learning about it. Then when they bring them to you have them tell you things they know about those items.

Learn about the history of St.Patrick’s Day through video.

Complete a Shamrock Science experiment.

You can also make this Rainbow Bracelet Craft too.

Of course, you know I can’t leave off suggesting reading St. Patrick’s Day books.

  1. The cake looks amazing. I don’t know if I have the patience or the talent do make something like that. But I think my kids would love the shamrock experiment! #HomeMattersParty
