Playing With Beauty Products

I received two Beauty Box 5 boxes to review in exchange for an honest blog review. I also got the Rose VoxBox from Influenster too. I also got a pair of pearl earrings from MyPacific Pearls in exchange for an honest blog review. I combined these three reviews together because they belong together.

Beauty Box 5

 From their site:
Beauty Box 5 is a subscription-based, beauty sampling program that delivers a box filled with 5 cosmetic samples to your door every month. Aimed at introducing women to new cosmetic products and educating them on best practices, Beauty Box 5 scours the market to find the best products for your lifestyle.

My Review

I got the Beauty Box 5 through Tomoson from the company. I was a bit shocked by how small the packages were. I honestly thought I was going to be getting big items from them when I signed up. I love trying out new makeup and beauty products. It’s a highlight for me because honestly affording makeup is not something I can do. With this program, I get to try out various beauty products from many well known brands for $12.00 a month with free shipping. I also receive discounts to the companies who take part in this program.

Personally, I don’t see where it’s worth $12.00 a month to do this program. If the price was closer to $8.00 then I’d say it’s more worth it. A majority of the samples I received were actually small items. In each box there was one full size item included. Maybe I’m still in an old school pricing range because I do know that makeup has only gotten more expensive in the past couple of years.

My Pacific Pearls

I am a secret pearl lover. I don’t stress how much I love them because they are a very costly item. My husband would go into the poor house trying to give me more pearls. I actually have a strong love of the dark color pearls. However, I didn’t want to be picky when I applied to review these pearls.

I got a beautiful pair of white pearl earrings. They also came included with a certificate of authenticity and valuation stating that they are worth $300.

I love how lightweight they are. They shimmer in the light too. I feel they go well with denim or with a beautiful black holiday dress. For me that is a great combination in a piece of jewelry. They are small enough that I don’t look like I’m trying to be a show off with them. (I also have makeup on from both the Beauty Box 5 and the Rose VoxBox in this picture.)

Rose VoxBox Review

I love getting boxes from Influenster. They have yet to disappoint me. They send full size products for me to review. I also get a wide range of products to try out at once.

In my last box I got:

Rimmel London Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara– I have that on in the picture. It stands out from other competitors because on each end of the roller is different levels of texture. So, regardless of the type of coverage you want on your eyelids you can get it with this product. It sells for $5.99.

Dr. Scholl’s For Her Cozy Cushions- This goes perfectly in a pair of boots. They make the bottom of my boots nice and comforty. I loved my boots before hand, but now I don’t mind staying in them all day long.

belVita Crunchy Breakfast Biscuits – This is quite a tasty treat. I made the mistake of letting Zeva try it too. She took all of them from me there.

Kiss Graduation Polishes – This is absolutely a gorgeous set of nail polish. It is perfect for Christmas holiday season.

Lindt LINDOR Milk Chocolate Truffles – These arrived melted, but that didn’t slow me down from enjoying these tasty treats. These things are heavenly any way you can get them!

Vitabath Hydrating Lotion – This definitely makes your body feel more hydrated than it was to start with. Dry skin isn’t an issue for a period of time.

I had some amazing pictures to share of these products, but my iPhone died completely on me. I now have a new phone and also a camera to take pictures with. So between the two of them, that will not be an issue moving forward.

I’m glad I got the chance to review all of these items.
