Pacific Rim Movie Review

I told you that Del and I had our first date in over two years the other day for our birthday. I promised you I’d tell you about our movie that we went to see. So, without further ado…

We went to see the movie Pacific Rim ir?t=tidbitofexp 20&l=as2&o=1&a=B008JFUR10. Let me tell you it was quite a remarkable movie. I was a bit concerned because here we were on our first date in ages, and we were going to see yet another Sci-Fi movie. (We always end up seeing sci-fi movies when we go to theater. Mind you, prior to being married to Del you couldn’t make me watch one without me complaining. Now he has me hooked on them just as much as he is.)

This movie was great from the first few minutes all the way to the end. It was absolutely nice being able to see it on the big screen curled up in his arms without any kids between us. I forgot what that felt like! I was able to cling to him during the intense parts of the movie. There were a few periods of time when it was just that intense.

The graphics were wonderful. The action was superb. The story line was excellent. It was an all around awesome movie! It could have earned some bigger stars that what it would have gotten normally from me because of the setting of us watching it. I doubt it though because Del can’t wait to watch it again! Truth be told, I look forward to seeing the boys reaction to the movie. There are some pretty awesome scenes worth watching again.

So, if you are looking to spend an arm and a leg to go see a movie away from home, this one is definitely one worth considering doing it for. Of course, there are many deals going on right now for theater tickets.

I can’t wait to see Despicable Me 2 and Monster University!! Those two movies can’t hit the shelves fast enough for our family! After all, Del is called Mr. Incredible Gru for a reason.

Have you seen any great movies in the theater this year?
