I’ve broadcasted all over my social media sites that we are trying out a new Internet plan. Broadband Blue gives unlimited Internet usage for only $119.00 a month. We are currently paying more than that per month on our current Internet plan for only 25 GB per month.
Our current plan gives us 25 GB to use each month. They do give us unlimited usage from 12AM-5AM. I am tired of having to wait until after midnight to do anything major on the net. I’ve been stuck watching all of these amazing videos and resources I’ve had saved up one little video once a week (because I have many other tasks that I try to accomplish during those hours as well.)
So Many Resources But My Hands Are Tied
There is so much I want to do, and can learn how to do with these resources! Why should I pay someone else to do something that I can learn how to do with a video I have available to me?? I’m sorry, I’ve always been the type of person to rather take charge and learn something than to have someone else do it for me. I was raised on the motto: “If you want it done right, you have to do it yourself.”
Yes, it’s taking me longer to reach my goals because of the of time it takes me to learn what I want. However, I don’t have money just rolling out of my pockets to invest in something that may not make a huge difference in my life to start with. I’d rather learn a new skill (that I can actually sell) and take a gamble that way. At least that way, I do gain something out of the trial effort.
That’s why this unlimited high speed Internet is such a big deal to me, and I’m sure to many other Americans who are in the same boat as me! We have the potential, even the resources saved up to use, and are strapped by what we can do. I know Obama is fighting to make it available to everyone. I also know Rome is not built in a day.
I’m Still Blessed
I feel blessed tremendously by what God has given us so far with this adventure. I still hold out hope that this system will work out because the company is sending us a new modem to try. I have to hand it to them, their customer service has been pleasant, patient, and very professional the umpteenth times I’ve called them. So, I’m still praying.
Regardless, this blog will continue. I just may not be able to open the doors that are staring me in the face right now. I just don’t believe that I’d get this chance without it working. That would be totally cruel punishment.
I still have lots to share with you. It will be coming in July. July is going to be an action packed month for Tidbits of Experience. I hope you’ll give me your feedback on all of it. I’d love to know what you think of the changes that are coming. This blog may have started out as a place for me to just vent and hope that others would connect with me on it. It has become so much more since then. Now, I value your visits. I value your input! I value YOU!!
That’s why I’m sharing with you what is going on with the Internet trial with Broadband Blue. So, that you won’t be left in the dark and wondering what is going on with us.
