European City Breaks Perfect for Families

Family holidays are the perfect way to make memories. Europe is a lovely place to travel through cities that are rich in history and culture and filled with a ton of interesting things for families to do and see.

Florence, Italy

Florence is a beautiful city in the Tuscan region of Italy and is the birthplace of the Renaissance. Be sure to visit the many sculptures and paintings by Michelangelo, and Leonardo da Vinci that are found here. Make sure your children learn how the Mutant Ninja Turtle got their names. Be sure to also check out the architecture that is among the finest in the world. You can join walking tours geared towards young children that are sure to leave them fascinated and eager to learn more. Be sure to check out the wooden toy factory of Bartolucci where generations of craftsman have created wondrous creations for children. For the adults and older children this is also known as the fashion mecca of the world. You can hire personal shoppers to show you the exciting clothing by designers like Ferragamo, Cavalli, Emilio Pucci, and Gucci just to name a few. After a long day of exploring the city, you can relax in a luxury villa.

Seville, Spain

Seville is the capital of the beautiful Andalusia region of Spain. There is plenty to do in Seville, it is an area known for its beautiful weather, golf courses and scenic beaches. This is a great place to visit for people of all ages and it is sure to please everyone.

Prague, Czech Republic

Prague is an exciting cultural place to visit and the cobble stone streets are enchanting. Split, Croatia

Split is the second largest city in Croatia and it is an exciting place that is full of beautiful beaches and many historical sites. Brac is a great place to stay and it is filled with beach resorts on the Adriatic Sea and home to the beautiful Zlatni Rat Beach. Explore the beautiful Cathedral of Saint Dominius and catch a play at the Croatian National Theatre. There are also many museums and there is an annual Split Festival which showcases music and local culture.

Paris, France

Paris is a great place to visit for people of all ages and it offers many things to do and see. Start your trip with a bus tour so you can get a feel for the layout of the city. Be sure to visit the iconic Eiffel Tower and see the city from a panoramic bird’s eye view. Take a stroll through this exquisitely designed city and visit the Louvre museum, the Rodin Museum, and wander down Champs-Élysées. Versailles, the summer palace, is a short train ride from town and a beautiful place to spend the day exploring. Take the kids 32km outside of the city to the world famous Disneyland Paris in Marne-la-Vallée where they can ride exciting rides and see their favorite characters come to life.
