Beauty Blogger VoxBox Review

Courtesy of Influenster I got a box full of beauty goodies to try out.

In the package I got quite a few wonderful things. The thing I loved the most was the NYC New York Color Individual Eyes Customer Compact that only cost $4.99. It definitely enhanced my eyes. It includes primer, illuminator, applicator, and complementing shadows.

I also got Kiss Ever Pro Lashes Starter Kit the costs $5.99. I won’t lie, I was way to chicken to try it myself so I convinced a friend of mine to try it for me. (I can’t wear contacts because I can’t keep my eyes open long enough to put them in. I knew I couldn’t do the lashes.) She put them on, but she stated that it felt to awkward for her to wear them for any period of time.

You can see the difference though. It made her eyes truly pop. I was actually quite impressed with the difference and how real they looked once we finally figured out how to put them on. That part alone took us a couple tries. Then you could tell it was bothering her eyes because they were getting watery and red. So, we didn’t bother putting the other one on. You have to truly enjoy fake eyelashes I guess to want to go through the hassle and uncomfortable feeling of wearing them. (To me, that’s like wearing high skinny heels on my messed up ankle.)

In the box was also Vitabath Fragrance Mist. As you can see from the picture, she really loved the smell. I even enjoyed the scent as well.

We also got a sample of EBoost which sells for $28.00 for a box of 20 effervescent powders. We got the orange flavor to try. It was not a big hit. It was easy to make though and very quick. I think I would have liked trying the Super Berry better.
Her hair using Goody Simple Styles Spin Pin $7.29
We also got the Goody Simple Styles Spin Pin which sells for $7.29. It was very quick and easy to use. It was like a big bobby pin set in which we only needed two to hold a bun in place.I am a huge fan of Bath and Body Works Mini Candles which sell for $3.50 a piece. We got one of those too, and it really makes a room smell great in such a little candle for a few hours. Smile
Lastly we got Not Your Mother’s Kinky Moves Curl Defining Hair Cream which sells for $6.00 for a full sized 4-oz bottle. Neither one of us has really curly hair so I can’t give it an honest review.
We had fun going through the Beauty Bloggers VoxBox 2012 provided by Influenster. I hope you enjoyed the pictures.
