Valentine’s Day

My Valentine’s Day was really quiet so far. Del and I had gone to get him an aquarium and fish yesterday for his Valentine’s Day gift. So, we celebrated yesterday. We also were able to beat some of the crowd by going yesterday. We actually tried the Marble Slab Ice Cream place. Let me tell you, they have some good ice cream!! (Yes, it went against my diet, but that was my Valentine’s treat.)
My rings still aren’t in from the jewelers yet. I’m waiting on my family ring to be made and my other ring to be sized. So, I should have them both by the 21st if all goes well. Time will tell. I can’t wait to have them on my right hand though.
Del wanted hot dogs and homemade fries tonight for dinner. I can’t stand hot dogs and the fries aren’t cooking the way I like, so they are easy to resist. The smell is making me lose my appetite like crazy.
Del and I are going to curl up together tonight once all the kids are in bed. Which is only two hours away now. 🙂 I look forward to our time together, but I’ve been enjoying the time with the kids too.
Well, I don’t have much else to ramble about tonight. I hope you all are having a great day.
