A Vehicle That’s New To Me

This is a sponsored post, but that in no way shaped my opinion of the products/companies.

Tindol Subaru has a vehicles I have never heard of before. Of course, I’ve never looked at Subaru’s in my life. I don’t know anything about them at all. However, after taking a hard look at Tindod Subaru’s website I must say I’m surprised I’ve never checked them out before now.

Isn’t this an adorable little vehicle? I love SUV’s. I don’t think I’d ever own anything but an SUV again. I can carry my kids with me everywhere I go. Plus I still have plenty of room for groceries and other things we may buy while we’re out.

I also love the fact that I feel comfortable taking my SUV in almost any type of terrain without having to worry. The 2014 Subaru Triberca 3.6R Limited has many features I like and cherish. One of the features that I enjoy is the Bluetooth capabilities. It holds 7 passagers with the ability to fold the backseats as needed. It also has the trip computer for those who enjoy that type of thing. There is also a place to put bike racks on the top of the vehicle too.  It gets about 21 miles per gallon on the interstate.

This vehicle currently sells for $34,095.

That is a pretty decent price for a brand new SUV off the lot. I personally am still hesitate about dishing that kind of money on a new ride that I know is going to lose it’s value the minute I pull off the lot. I don’t remember where I read it or saw it on TV, but a financial adviser stated it was far better to buy a used vehicle and spend what I would have spent on a car payment into a new house payment.

Considering the prices of cars and the monthly payments that come with them, I think I’d rather invest in a new house than a new car. A house will provide me a lot more benefits in the long run than a car will. Plus a house holds it value a whole lot more.

So although, it’s really nice looking at these new cars that are available, it is not something that I honestly see me investing in. Especially considering if something should happen to the transmission, I could have literally almost bought a nice used vehicle for cost of having to fix it. Plus I’m not having to pay a car payment on top of that.

What are your thoughts on new car verses buying  a good used one?
