Trident Case Review

I was given the Trident Case to review in exchange for an honest blog review. I received the KRAKEN A.M.S case for my Kindle Fire HDX 7. That in no way shaped my opinion of this product.

Trident Case Review
When I got the KRAKEN A.M.S. Case for our Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 I was super excited. I love to try on new cases on our tablets. (The boys each have a Kindle Fire. I have my Kindle Fire. My husband has his mini iPad.) I love to interchange the cases on all of our technology. After looking at the same case for so long it gets boring to look at. I know teenagers are normally the ones who want to change the way things look all the time, and I tend to feel like a teenager because I am always wanting a new cover.

I really wanted this cover for Jimmy’s Kindle because his cover doesn’t really allow for easy use of his Kindle Fire while he’s playing a game.  Plus I don’t feel it protects his Kindle enough. The KRAKEN A.M.S. case is made up of three separate layers. It was advertised as “Military Standards that meets or exceeds MIL-STD-810F.” I couldn’t resist seeing if it really does withstand “KID DAMAGE” as I call it in our house.

The KRAKEN A.M.S. Case is very tough! I literally took a huge gamble and had Delbert (my six year old) stand on top of the case. (Yes, our tablets have a tendency to get left on the floor and kids step on them because they were playing a game while sitting on their beanbags, and they get called away so they just put their Kindles on their beanbags.) The case still looks brand new with no dents or cracks in it at all even after Delbert’s test. I wouldn’t suggest doing this all the time, but I had to know if it would survive.

I’ve taken this case and thrown it on the floor hard because with a two year old handling my Kindle Fire the case has to withstand abuse. We live in a cinder block home with hard cement floors with very little carpet padding over them. Between the two tests I’ve put this case through, it’s very safe to say that it is military tough. To say it passes this Mommy’s approval would be an understatement.

I love that Trident Case offers a wide selection of cases. They have cases to meet the needs of just about every one of all ages in your family. They have KRAKEN A.M.S. cases for many different Apple products and the Amazon Kindle Fires, and Samsung Galaxy products. They also carry the CYCLOPS brand for the Apple iPhone 5/5S phones. The price of a KRAKEN A.M.S. case for the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is $59.95. It is available in several different colors.

I'm Crystal. I'm married to Dale, and mother to Johnny. Some might say that my life is perfect because I get to do all the cliché wife things like cooking, cleaning, and decorating - but there's more! I also have many hobbies including needlework (crochet), sewing, and reading. My son's education is important, so we homeschool him together.
