Thrifty Handmade Kitchen Set

I mentioned already how we’re having extremely freaky weather for this time of year. I can’t help but feel like we are the ones who need Deepchill provide Gold Coast air conditioning services instead of the other side of the world.

I’m sitting here wearing a SUMMER dress and still burning up because we took most of our A/C’s out of our house already because Winter started on December 22, here. I can’t help but feel like Global Warming is an even bigger issue than people want to realize.

They claim that one of the best ways to help with Global Warming issues is to recycle and reuse items rather than throw them away. I’m proud to say that we are big on doing that. We do sell pallets, plastic containers, and cardboard all over the East coast. My mother-in-law and I do a good bit of thrift store shopping. I go and look at most of it and think it’s not worth anything. However, she has a creative gene that allows her to see things for what they could be rather than just what they are.

I have been showing her all kinds of [easyazon_link identifier=”B005IZHM7Q” locale=”US” tag=”tidbitofexp-20″]kid’s kitchen sets[/easyazon_link] for Zeva for her birthday and Christmas this year. She kept saying she could make one that would last a lifetime from various items. For the life of me I couldn’t see what she saw.

She had a vision though that was specular!! Check out all of these picture of Zeva’s kitchen set. Isn’t it remarkable?

I can honestly say I love this kitchen set that my in-laws worked so diligently on making for Zeva. As you can tell Zeva is quite happy with it too. She dragged the boys into her room the other night and they played in there for HOURS together without a single ounce of fighting. They were so happy that they ended up staying up until midnight because they were having that much fun together.

  2. Those are all adorable. I made one for my son a few summers ago. It still gets tons of attention from him and the older children’s friends.
