I believe in the value of spending time with my wife for just her and me at least two to three times a week. As a result, I love to find shows that my wife and I can watch together on TV for our date nights each week. We eagerly check out the new shows on TV as they come on.
This season we checked out The Last Ship on TNT on Sunday at 9pm. We had this on our list of shows to watch but we failed to share it in our lineup of summer shows to watch. We should have added it to the list!
This show is about a doctor who are added to a naval ship to find the cure for a major “global pandemic that wipes out eighty percent of the planet’s population.” The Naval commander was forced to ensure that their crew had no contact with the outside world while they were on their mission. The kicker though is the captain had no idea what was their real mission.
This show has the ability to captivate your attention to the point that before you know it the hour is over. We were filled with complete suspense throughout the entire show.
The whole time we were watching this show it reminded us how quickly our lives can be taken from us from things we least expect. The show hit home because I personally have been dealing with some major physical issues that have had me concerned for some time.
If you love drama shows then you definitely need to jump on board with watching this series. You can actually watch the Season Premier again on Sunday, June 29th, 2014 at 9am.
