I received this Ozeri INSTAVAC food storage set. I’m always needing storage containers for left over food. This is especially true during the holiday season. I was eager to try these out because I love the fact that they snap sides on the lid.
These containers are unique because they take out the air that gets normally stored in with our food which causes it to spoil sooner. All you have to do is simple press down on the center of the lid to get rid of the excess air. Also, if you decide to use these containers in the microwave with the lid on, you can open up the valve to get rid of the access air. That is such a nice feature when you’re heating up spaghetti sauce because it keeps the mess down.
They all come with a wave like pattern at the bottom of the container which keeps fruits and vegetables fresher because they are not stuck sitting in water or juices.
The valve also has a handy date dial around it which allows a person to mark when things have been placed in the frig. As a former restaurant manager, that feature is quite appealing to me. I can remember having to use stickers to mark when things were placed in our refrigerator stands. This keeps someone from eating something that should technically already be thrown away.
My absolute favorite feature of all about these Ozeri INSTAVAC storage containers is the fact that they are created in such a manner that they remain stain free. Every other storage container I have ever used has stained when I’ve put spaghetti sauce or chili in them, and that makes me so uncomfortable to use them again. I may know I’ve scrubbed, soaked, and scrubbed those containers at least a dozen times, but they never give off the feeling of them being clean. With the Ozeri INSTAVAC containers, that was not an issue at all! I LOVED it!

These containers are totally awesome. I really can’t express how much I like them. My husband literally had a big spill about them, but he’s not a writer. (I’m trying to figure out how to get podcasting on my blog so that you all can actually hear some of his thoughts on the things we get.)
