I’ve stressed many times over now that Best Buy is the place to buy technology products for yourself and your family members. Every computer and laptop we’ve ever bought has come from Best Buy. We will continue to buy them from there. It’s not only the place for great deals on quality computers. Best Buy also the place to buy TVs.

Meet the New LG OLED TV

There’s a new TV on the market that deserves your attention. It’s the OLED TV. This LG OLED TV is only 0.17” thick. That is thinner than a pencil. Since I still have a thick 73” inch TV in my living room to me that is a big deal. This TV is not only thin, but it also has the curve design which provides equally distant from all parts of the screen when sitting in front of the TV. (It reminds me of the IMAX theater experience.) Not only does this part of the TV enhance your viewing pleasure, but so does the LG’s 4 Color Pixel technology. If you know anything about art and color, coloring can drastically improve and image and the way things are viewed. This makes images on your TV appear life like.

The aspect of this TV that I am impressed by is the webOS platform. It offers a “redesigned Launcher menu that pulls together all of your entertainment choices.” It comes with your standard apps that you know and most commonly used like Netflix, Hulu Plus, YouTube, Amazon Prime, and many more. This system allows you to be able to locate your next item for your viewing pleasure in a quicker manner.

The LG OLED TV also comes with its own “Magic Remote with Voice.” You can literally control all of your entertainment needs with one remote with your voice. I literally have five remotes that I have to use to (only because setting up my Bose remote is too complicated for me to set up.)

Buy the LG OLED TV

You can buy the LG OLED TV at Best Buy at their everyday price of $3,499.99. If you have done any type of TV shopping, like I have been this year, then you know that’s still a remarkable price for this type of TV.

Be sure you check out Best Buy for your technology shopping needs this holiday season. Join in the #HintingSeason discussion during Best Buy’s Twitter party on December 4th at 7PM CST.  If you don’t know how to do that, then be sure to check out my quick Twitter party tutorial.

If you could hint to someone that you wanted this LG OLED TV would you do it?

  1. That TV looks to be amazing! The plasma is my bedroom is on its way out, and we were going to get a Samsung bc we have on in the living room and we really liked it. Now after seeing this, I guess I have to second think that! Great review and thanks!

    • We have various kinds of TVs all throughout this house. We’ve also had many new TVs in the past seven years together. Our Sharp TV has outlasted all of them.

  2. I have seen a few commercials for the TVs with the curved screen and someday when the price comes down hope to have one. If wishing were only to make it so.

    • Wishing is a great place to start to make things happen according to Crystal. (Of course, once she sets her mind to make something happen, look out!) I’m like you on some products I do wait on the price to come down before I get it. On other things I’m first in line to get them.

    • It is an expensive TV for sure, but it does have a lot of added features that you won’t find elsewhere.
