Major Milestone for Zeva

IMG 0091

I can’t believe she’s reached the walking milestone already. It seems like yesterday that I gave birth to her. I couldn’t wait for this day to come. She still isn’t standing up on her own yet, but she’s getting there. She is all over the place now. We literally had to create boarders throughout our house.

She is so eager to learn everything. She is my little bundle of joy. The boys are so proud of her as well. They get even more excited than I do at times over all her milestones. Jimmy acts like he can’t keep his eyes off of her. (Of course, he was praying with us for her arrival.)

Delbert has been dealing with major jealousy issues. He’s our middle child, and it seems like he doesn’t gain as much attention as he use to as much as I try my hardest to keep that from happening. I do my best to let him know that I love him as much as I always did. How do you ensure your kids gain equal time with you??

It helps that I home school him so he does still get that one on one attention with me. He doesn’t mind if Zeva is included in things we do. He adores her, but I can tell he struggles with being jealous her gaining most of my attention. He’s my Momma’s boy. He makes sure that I hear him confirming it daily.

Zeva is definitely growing up quickly. She definitely has her own personality. She loves to make us happy. I just hope she maintains that trait as long as possible. I know when she reaches her teen years that wonderful trait may disappear.

What was your favorite milestone you child reached?
