Hey Mama! Organize 2016-2017 Homeschool Plans With This Planner!

Our current school year is over for the kids, but it’s NOT quite over for me. I am determined to have a more organized school year 2016-2017 year because I feel it will benefit all the kids as well as myself abundantly so. Hot off the presses and just in time, I’m ready to get started planning with the new Hey Mama! Print Schoolhouse Planner 2016-2017  that I got to review from The Old Schoolhouse.

About the Schoolhouse Planner 2016-2017

The above video goes into complete detail about the planner. However, if you have limited data like I do then you don’t watch videos quite much. This homeschool planner is designed to be a homeschool Mama’s assistant.

In this planner,  you will find a full at a glance calendar for 2016,2017 and 2018. Then there are monthly calendars for each month from July 2016 until June 2017 with decent size boxes to write things in. BEFORE each calendar is a page designated for notes, but on the left-hand side of each monthly calendar is a little section for notes. After all of the monthly calendars, there is a Week Of section where a teacher/Mama can put their lesson plans on for the week in a well-organized fashion. Then you have monthly, semester and yearly goal sections too.

That’s not all you’ll find in this planner!

There are other things included such as:

  • Attendance Charts for five kids
  • Books Read This Year Charts for three kids
  • Curriculum Planning Sheets
  • Homeschooling Contact List
  • Writing Prompts
  • Story Prompts
  • The Thirteen Colonies By Date
  • Timeline of Inventions
  • U.S. Presidents and Their Wives (including years served)
  • Branches of the Federal, State, and Local Governments
  • The States and Capitals
  • Resource on Creating an Academic Transcript
  • Section to Make a Transcript
  • Checklist of Skills Learned

My Review

By now you can see that I’m excited to have this homeschool planner to use for the 2016-2017 school year. I like how I’ll be able to manage everything with ease. I am going to add tabs though for each of the sections to it to make getting to things much easier, but that is an easy fix. To me, this will allow me to keep track of everything for them in ONE notebook styled manner with ease. This definitely beats having different types of files and systems for the kids like I have been doing. This planner will be used to pieces this year for sure. I feel that anyone who homeschools will greatly benefit from this planner.
