Family Friendly Movie: Big Game

After a LONG day, MANY trips into town, and two trips to Redbox, I finally found a movie worth sharing with you. I haven’t shared a NEW DVD release in a while with you. I have been on the hunt for some movies to share with you. My mother-in-law is reviewing a movie for you too. Honestly for as much as I’m enjoying watching all the new Fall TV series, there is still something nice about watching a movie curled up with the kids and Max! The cover of Big Game gained my interest.

Big Game is about a 13-year-old boy who is sent out by his father to do his first BIG HUNT for a deer or a bear. Instead, he ends up having to fight for his life against those who are trying to kill the President of the United States (Samuel Jackson.) I knew that if Samuel Jackson was in it, that the movie had to at least been pretty decent. I wasn’t disappointed!

Jimmy and I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. It does have some violent scenes in it! I don’t believe the violence is too terrible for your older kids to watch with you. It’s action packed and will keep everyone’s attention. There are a few funny parts to it too.

I don’t want to say too much more because I feel I’ll end up giving you too many spoilers.

Have you seen this movie yet?
