Avengers-Movie Review

This movie is definitely worth watching. I’m a huge fan of Iron Man, Thor, and Hulk. So for all of them to be in one movie that was pretty darn cool to me. I wanted to go see this in the movie theatre, but with the price of movie tickets and snacks (and for us the gas to go to a decent movie theatre) it’s not worth that kind of money.

I’m going to warn you now there are some very boring parts to this movie (very similar to Transformers series), but you almost have to go through the boring parts to fully grasp and understand that awesome parts of the movie. I became restless but Del knew I had this movie on my to watch list for some time so he made me ride it out. I’m glad he did!!

We laughed so hard we ended up waking poor Zeva up from her deep slumber. However, Del re winded it and literally got in front of the TV to make her watch the action on the TV, and then she laughed and jumped around with us. (I don’t know if she was laughing at us or the TV, but either way she joined in on the laughter.) It’s a great movie for the family to enjoy.

I was personally amazed by some of the effects of the movie. I’m a tech geek and get wrapped up on those details rather quickly. (Hence, why I’m such a huge Iron Man fan. Also because I have metal holding my ankle together now too.)

My 91 days until Christmas gift suggestion would be to schedule out one day a week to where you spend quality time together with your family EVERY WEEK!!! (It doesn’t have to be more than an hour.) I know we all live hectic crazy lives, but if you etch that time in stone for your family trust me it will make a HUGE difference. Even when I worked, my family knew there was going to be an hour that I devoted completely to them,….even if it meant my phone stayed in another room all together. Spouses…….Your marriage is your security for EVERYONE in the family!!! Set up dates twice a month at least, and it doesn’t have to cost you a penny!! Make time to be a couple at least twice a month. Also set a tradition between each other that your going to do EVERYDAY to let each other know that you love them. Del and I don’t not go more than four hours without some type of communication between us. A lot of people think that’s totally crazy, but it’s what keeps us bonded together especially when we do have to be separated from each other for long periods of time.

I know those of you who read my blog on a regular bases may be sick to death of hearing me preach this concept. However, I’ve looked death square in the eyes to many times to ignore this fact of life!! I’ve also had to give up someone that means the world to me because it was better for her that I did it. We can’t change what’s happened nor can we predict the future. All we can do is make the most of the most of the time we have on this earth. No one or nothing can replace your family and those you love. You can re buy a house, a car, and eventually you can find another job.

I'm Crystal. I'm married to Dale, and mother to Johnny. Some might say that my life is perfect because I get to do all the cliché wife things like cooking, cleaning, and decorating - but there's more! I also have many hobbies including needlework (crochet), sewing, and reading. My son's education is important, so we homeschool him together.
