ir?t=tidbitofexp 20&l=as2&o=1&a=B0083PWAPWI got the Kindle Fire HD for Christmas early from my husband. I have been given the chance to do a lot of book reviews for my blog. Since I couldn’t give you a movie review today due to Blockbuster not getting their movies in on time, I decided to do a blog post on this today instead. I hope to give you a movie review tomorrow if all goes well.
I enjoy the Kindle Fire. It has a lot of added features that I wasn’t expecting. We can control what the kids are able to see and do on it and for how long. Plus it has a neat feature of literally reading books to my kids for me (and for those of you who have had to read MANY books to your kids for hours on end) you know how valuable of a tool that can be for you.
I thought a Kindle was only good for reading books. Low and behold, it also has the ability to give me games and many other neat apps as well. It is Android based. I am very use to Apple products, so this is a huge change for me.
I have been an Amazon fan for many years, and have received MANY free books from them throughout the years as well, and now all of them are able to be read on my Kindle. I’m super excited to have an official e-reader. I know I’ll get lots of enjoyment out of it.
Del isn’t overly impressed because it doesn’t offer him the type of games he’s become accustom to being able play on his iPad 2. So, he’ll stick with his iPad 2, but he does like the Kindle for reading books and the feature that he can have a book read to him without it being an audio book.
I do feel it’s a great investment. I also feel that it would make a great gift for a rising teenager or teenager or a fellow book lover.

I'm Crystal. I'm married to Dale, and mother to Johnny. Some might say that my life is perfect because I get to do all the cliché wife things like cooking, cleaning, and decorating - but there's more! I also have many hobbies including needlework (crochet), sewing, and reading. My son's education is important, so we homeschool him together.
