2016 is Being a Crazy Hectic Year

I do declare 2016 is off of a very rocky start. I haven’t decided if I’m loving it or not. This year has been filled with many changes! If you know anything about me at all, I don’t do to well with changes. Even if those changes are GOOD changes!

The Office Adventure

I told Del over the holiday season that I truly would like to have my OWN domain to go work and hide away from the kids. I felt an office would make me work more efficiently. Bless his wonderful heart, he jumped right on that task and worked diligently for a little over a week to get my office done. However, it has taken everybody time to get used to the fact that when the door is SHUT it means I’m working and to leave me alone!

This CRAZY Weather

The only downfall to my having my office is keeping the temperature regulated compared to what is outside. Considering our weather has gone from the 80’s to the 40’s like a darn yo-yo lately, it’s hard to say whether we should invest in a new heater or an A/C cooling system. We do know come summer time that we’re going to have to put in an A/C unit in my office because otherwise I’ll suffocate from the heat.

Since there is a continual change in our weather lately, I’ve been fighting to NOT get sick. Plus, dreary days make me have to fight depression quite a bit too.

Del’s Health

The loyal fans know that Del’s health has been an ongoing issue for us for some time now. Since we’ve started eating food we’ve bought from Harris Teeter our entire families’ health has improved quite a bit. He is STILL struggling with some issues, but he’s not living with as much pain and suffering as he has in the past. We still need to find out answers and get him permanent complete medical care, but at least, we’re seeing a bit of light at the end of this long tunnel we’ve been in.

On the Blog Front

As you can tell, I haven’t been able to do a whole heck of a lot of writing lately. However, it’s NOT because I don’t want to. In fact, I have plenty to share with you. I have loads of things I want to write about. Between my computer completely dying on me and having to get another one, and also the fact that our family life has been so crazy, there just hasn’t been enough time for me to write it all.

Plus, I’ve been burying my nose in the BlogPreneur class and the Skyrocket Blog Pageviews Using Google Analytics book. I have also started using LongTail Keywords Pro system to help find topics that you may more interested in reading based on the information I’m learning. I have been blogging for a long time, but blogging seems to be shifting and changing drastically.

As a result, I have to learn how to CHANGE with it. These three products truly are steering me in that direction and helping. I do hope that it makes a positive difference for both you and I. I hope to provide you content that will honestly provide you the means to make your own personal life experiences better.

I’ve been feeling like a student all over again. I have loads of homework to do. Let’s just see if it pays off more than my student loans and college time has thus far in my life! I’m definitely a lot more passionate about this topic than anything I’ve learned in school.

I’m hoping the rocky start to 2016 is behind us now. I hope to be able to dive into the rest of the year with a positive vengeance.

How has 2016 started out for you?

I'm Crystal. I'm married to Dale, and mother to Johnny. Some might say that my life is perfect because I get to do all the cliché wife things like cooking, cleaning, and decorating - but there's more! I also have many hobbies including needlework (crochet), sewing, and reading. My son's education is important, so we homeschool him together.

  1. I’m pretty much in the same boat as you, 2016 has been pretty hectic for me too. I’ve been trying to keep up with the blogging end of my life but other things like homeschooling and family time just don’t always allow it!

    • Family always has to come first. I had a solid system down pat, but then life kept changing on me. Maybe now, things will slow down enough to get me back on track now. I hope the same holds true for you too.

Thank you for stopping by and commenting. I hope to see you again soon.
