Movie Reviews for Week of 2/5/13

This was a really cute movie. I did enjoy watching it. I am a fan of Miley, and enjoy her movies and songs. I knew this was going to be a bit juvenile, but it was still very enjoyable to watch. I got a few laughs from it.

I could definitely relate to Miley’s role of having to be all prim and proper and not wanting to be. I’ve always been more comfortable in boots and jeans than dresses and heels. Although, I can do it if I need to. It’s hard to hide that side of ourselves when we know we need to.

I was reminded of the times when I was growing up that I had to pretty much change roles depending on which parent I was with. My Dad wanted me all prim and proper and my mom wanted me all tough and country. You would think it would be backwards, but that definitely wasn’t the case for me. I have to give my Dad credit that he allowed me to get some of my Senior pictures in boots and jeans. However, the vast majority of them were in a gorgeous white dress that I loved!!

I didn’t get to physically watch this movie, but I was able to listen to it in the background. The boys LOVED this movie!! They laughed a lot throughout this movie. Of course, what do you expect with Kevin James?  He is quickly becoming one of my favorite actors.

So far, his movies are filled with laughter with a touch of seriousness to them as well. Plus he always seems to be overcoming something that everyone can relate to in some form or fashion. Did you see the movie Zookeeper?? It’s a good movie as well.

I hope my triple review makes up for me being late. 🙂

Did you watch any of these movies?? If so, what are

    • I usually do movie reviews every Tuesday of some kind. However, since Blockbuster shut down my local store, it’s been hard to snag them from Redbox before everyone else gets them. (Right now, we’re trying to get four movies that we haven’t been able to snag all week.) We normally get every new release that comes out and watch them. So, if you want to know if a movie is worth watching before you get it chances are EXTREMELY high we’ve watched it.
