We got a grill to enjoy the great outdoor cooking all summer long. Del does a lot of cooking on the grill. Hopefully this year, I hope to become comfortable cooking on the grill. Since Del is working, the kids and I can enjoy cooking and eating things that we normally can’t eat with Del around due to his allergies. Plus Momma and the kids have been working on the garden so I look forward to eating grilled vegetables. 🙂
Another thing we have to do to get ready for the summer is ensure that we have a lot of batteries ready for all the toys we use during the summer. If we had an aa battery charger it definitely help us save on some money. Considering we have bubble blowing guns, remote control trucks, and so many other toys that require batteries all throughout this house and on the property it’s a wonder we haven’t already invested in battery chargers of all kinds.
Plus with the summer heat, we also play lots of video games when it’s to hot to enjoy the great outdoors. Some of our controllers also take batteries as well. It’s amazing when you think about the amount of batteries a person uses in their home.
How many batteries would you say you use in your home?? Have you thought about that lately??
I have a handy dandy battery tip for you! Every year, on Black Friday, I buy batteries from Home Depot. They always have an amazing deal on them! I mean I’m talking AMAZING! Like the first year I think it was this ginormous pack of like 60 batteries for like 9 bucks. They lasted us all year and then they had a similar deal for the next Black Friday. So now I just stock up every year! I’m sure Lowe’s and some other stores probably have similar deals too. Anyway, that’s just my suggestion! 😀
