Since I’ve become an adult I do believe every three years I’ve upgraded to a new TV through Best Buy. I’m due for another upgrade now! I have been eyeing a Smart TV for some time now because I know it would be very useful for me to own one with all of the ways I use the Internet in my homeschooling ventures with my kids. However, in my recent trip to our local Best Buy I’ve seen the new 4K Ultra HD TV that is also a Smart TV too, and I became instantly hooked!
The picture on the 4K Ultra HD TVs are sharp and clear because it provides you “four times the picture resolution of a 1080p HDTV.” It has the ability to make you feel like you’re actually at the places on TV. I loved having that feeling when I go to an IMAX theater. However, now I feel like I can have that in my own living room without having screens all around me making me feel like I’m missing out on something happening in the show.
I’d love to be able to enjoy my favorite shows again with the 4K Ultra HD TV because then I wouldn’t miss a single moment of the action due to not having a clear TV anymore. Plus if I get my beloved Sony brand TV then I can get their 4K Ultra HD Media Player that comes loaded with free 4K content and be able to download 200 4K films. I’m chomping at the bit to take advantage of this new Sony Experience.
What is really neat is 50 Best Buy store are hosting an event from August 9th through November 1st giving their visitors the chance to WIN a 55” 4k Ultra HD TV! Make sure you visit a store near you to experience and learn about the Ultra HD TV every Saturday from 11am-3pm and enter to win TV which includes installation and Geek Squad Protection. Go to http://www.bestbuy.com/4kuhdevents to find a location near you.
However, if you’re like me and don’t really want to risk waiting to see if you won something you want, you can purchase this awesome TV for less than $3000. This is really not as high as I expected it to be when I went to check it out myself.
What are your thoughts on the new 4K Ultra HD TVs?
