Despite being part of a large legal industry, little is known about the health risks faced by adult film performers. This study aimed to determine how adult film actors were exposed to dangers to their physical, mental, and social health and distribution patterns.
Semi-structured in-depth interviews were conducted with 18 female and ten male performers. Our community partner, Protecting Adult Welfare (PAW), recruited them at adult film venues and snowball sampling.
