Tids of Everything

A romp in the hay lingers like the first line of a song, but your true love is the one you make a life with and write more than a line about, you write a whole book.

This Christmas, I’ve watched so many Christmas romance movies. I’ve also watched two movies this past year “Hall Pass” and “Friends With Benefits” that are based on sex being just sex. I can’t help but think about my past. I am married to the love of my life. I wouldn’t trade being his wife for anything. Now that Zeva is born and I’m feeling normal again, my drive is returning like crazy. I feel like I’ve been deprived like crazy.
Since I’ve lost 42 pounds thanks to Zeva getting my hormones back on track that had been knocked out of wack for the past ten years, I do declare I am way more flexible. 🙂 I love the fact that I am right there at the borderline of being able to wear clothes that are sitting in storage ready for me to wear.
So now, I’m definitely on the road to lose this excessive weight. I can’t wait to see and wear size 10 clothes again. I’ve been enjoying my peanut butter blossoms, but I ONLY make those at Christmas time, so once this batch is gone, it’s gone for good until next Christmas. I hope to reached my goal completely between now and next Christmas. So, I can go on a brand new wardrobe shopping spree as my Christmas present next year. Plus I also have a little red dress that I’d love to be able to prance around in with a pair of black stockings and a pair of fancy shoes. Since I don’t have to worry about gaining the weight back again, I honestly think it will happen.
Let’s not forget my husband is completely on board for me to lose the weight as well. He’s also wanting to lose the weight he gained (I lost the weight and he gained it while I was pregnant.) He is even “thinking” about joining the Y with me this year. If he does that it will be so wonderful to have him there pushing me at the gym. Of course, I feel my husband is completely utterly handsome and I love the fact that he has some weight on him. You have to realize for over 15 years he was nothing but skin and bones and tall. So, for him to have weight on him, it’s REALLY nice. However, he doesn’t like it.
Today’s weather was quite interesting here today. It started out raining and the wind was howling like crazy. Then by noon the sun was shining large and proud in the sky, and the wind felt great. Oh how I love the southern weather.
I am eager for my shows to return to tv. 🙂 Next week my tvio is going to be recording like crazy. Granted, I spread out my shows and only watch about 2-3 hours worth of tv a day, if that, but I still like having it as a option. I’d much rather read something or spend time playing with the kids.
Speaking of kids, Little Del looks so big now that I have Zeva. Zeva is so small and tiny. Little Del feels and look like a “little man.” However, my “little man” still refuses to use regular toothpaste. He begged for his kids toothpaste today. It was so cute.
Peppermint is still sneaking to smell Zeva like she doesn’t know who/what Zeva is. However, she’s respecting Zeva and being really gentle with her still. 🙂
Jimmy starts back to school next week and so does Del and I. It’s been nice having the break, but we’re all amazed how much time we have on our hands without it.
Well, I’ve rambled enough.

I'm Crystal. I'm married to Dale, and mother to Johnny. Some might say that my life is perfect because I get to do all the cliché wife things like cooking, cleaning, and decorating - but there's more! I also have many hobbies including needlework (crochet), sewing, and reading. My son's education is important, so we homeschool him together.
