#TidbitsThursday Everything But the Blog Post Book Review

I am always on the hunt for the newest and finest blogging tips I can find to share with you. I love to learn everything I can about blogging. It’s become a major obsession for me. I’ve been working diligently to put into practice some of the things I’ve learned, and I can tell a huge difference.

This week I was given the chance to review Becca Ludlum’s Everything But the Blog Post book in exchange for an honest review for you. I was quite impressed with this book. She has literally rounded up many of the top things you need to know about blogging when you’re first starting out.

She has divided this book up into three sections- Creating Your Blog, Building Your Community, and Monetizing Your Blog. In the Creating Your Blog section she goes over how to create your blog name and ways to avoid having to rebrand your blog later one. In the Building Your Community section she talks about ways to connect with those who will help you grow your blog. In the Monetizing Your Blog section she covers how to make money with your blog.

She really doesn’t go into a lot of heavy duty details with everything she covers in her book. I honestly expected to find more meat and potatoes to this book. However, if you are a brand new blogger then this book is actually worth getting because it answers a lot of the general questions you have when you’re first starting out.

I am FINALLY working on something that I’m finding is needed for new bloggers more than anything else. It’s a slow working progress, but if you’re a new blogger please be sure to send me your questions! You can put them in the comments or send me an email. I’m not going to spill the beans about it just yet. I will give you a hint though, check out my YouTube page.

When you order this book you do get a lot more than just the book. You gain editable media kit and rate sheets, group conference clothing sponsorship templates, and also inclusion in the Everything But the Posts Secret Facebook Group where you can ask questions too. You can order this book on Amazon or by clicking here.

I feel honored to be included in this top 50 bloggers list.
