I have been running around in sweat pants lately because I have been steadily working like a mad women as much as possible. Plus we’ve been working on another project yet again on the house. Del mentioned in passing how he misses seeing me wear something other than my sweat pants and yoga pants.
I responded to Del with how much I LOVE my one and only pair of yoga pants I own. Of course, that lead to an Internet search for yoga clothes. Even though Del wants to see me wear something other than sweat pants and my yoga pants he will support anything that makes me happy.
The other item that I don’t want to give up to readily right now is my sports bra. For as much as I love wearing comfortable pants, I love a good sports bra beyond any other type of bra there is on the market. I believe that has a lot to do with how much support they give me. However, it’s also a lot easier to put them on and off than the other types of bras.
When I wear my yoga pants and sweat pants while playing music it opens me up to being more physically active without any hold backs. Now mind you, I don’t get to be physically active that often, but when I do it gives me a natural high and drastically improves my mood. I’ve been trying to figure out how to fit more time for me to be physically active into my busy schedule.
There for a while I was walking every hour for at least 10-20 minutes, and it made a positive impact. I really should go back to doing that. Those minutes added up throughout the course of the day. Plus I somehow actually seemed to be more productive in a day. Maybe it’s because that little bit of exercise boasted my mentality and increased my brain waves. I was also noticing that I was losing weight too in the process, which is always a good thing!
Another thing I’ve been considering doing is playing my Wii U fitness games and doing some workout videos like some that are found on Sweaty Betty’s website right before I take a shower. I should probably do that in the middle of the day when I’m feeling drowsy instead of taking my afternoon naps. Of course, I have major issues with sleeping at night, but a good hard long day may help with that issue too.
