So Much to Tell You…

I have no clue where to start with what the last couple of days have been like for us.

You already saw our fall festival pictures (that was from three different festivals three different nights.) Of course, we also had Jimmy’s birthday yesterday.

It’s hard to read the Skylanders title, but we were all excited to get it.

Of course, Daddy had to check out the game first. 🙂 Doesn’t look like Jimmy or Zeva minded watching him. Delbert was on the couch watching him too, but I couldn’t get him in the picture too.

We’ve been offered the chance to review K5Learning for the next six weeks. So far, I like it. I don’t like the squeaky voice that is used for the lessons. However, Delbert enjoys doing it. He hasn’t come to me and asked can he stop like has on some of the other programs we’ve given him to do. I’ll tell you more about it in six weeks. If you are a  blogger, you may want to check out their online learning review of their program.

Then today I had a doctors appointment. I haven’t gone to the doctor since Zeva was born. I’ve been having major pain in my lower portion of my right stomach, and I’ve regained ALL the weight I lost while I was pregnant with her. The bad thing is I’ve been more physically active since she’s been born. The doctor checked out my throat with her hands, and it caused me MAJOR pain. She stated that my thryoid did not feel right to her. So, she ran some blood work. A couple hours after my appointment she called me back to tell me that she is recommending that my thyroid get scanned. So, I have to set that appointment up tomorrow. I am hoping something gets resolved. My mom has thought something was wrong with my thyroid for years, but we couldn’t get a doctor to listen to US. Well, I guess having a specialist in Columbia point out that there has to be some hormone issue going on with my body while I was pregnant with Zeva helped our case. It could also be that we changed doctors too. Notice I’m saying we because Del was right there with me at the doctor’s office telling her all the symptoms I’ve been having. I forgot so many of them because I don’t keep track of what is going on with myself. Luckily he loves me enough to do that for me. He stated everything with nothing but love and concern.

Del got his Need for Speed Most Wanted Limited Edition game in today. It’s a game that we all enjoy watching him play.

So life has been quite eventful here lately. Plus we have Halloween trick or treating to do tomorrow night after a very full day of school work.

How has your week started out??

I'm Crystal. I'm married to Dale, and mother to Johnny. Some might say that my life is perfect because I get to do all the cliché wife things like cooking, cleaning, and decorating - but there's more! I also have many hobbies including needlework (crochet), sewing, and reading. My son's education is important, so we homeschool him together.
