Rainy Day…

I do declare my boys got the memo that “Rainy days are good for sleeping or snuggling.” When it rains, our house manages to be extremely quiet and very relaxing days. I do declare I get more mental projects done on a rainy day than any other type of day. I’ve reached the conclusion that when it’s sunny outside they are just itching to get outside and enjoy the great outdoors. Zeva has been enjoying her time with her brothers in each of their rooms lately in her little chair. The boys think they are so grown up when they have her in their care.

Of course, we’ve done that as much as possible. However, when you home school, you have to spend a good portion of the day inside doing school work. (We have animals outside that love to give attention the minute we go outside—so that saying “my dog ate my homework” would be definitely true.) Luckily on most days, Jimmy and Delbert (Little Del’s birth name—the name we’ve decided we have to start using) get their work done in time for us to be able to enjoy on average 2-3 hours of outside time daily.

I am tickled pink that I’ve been gaining more viewers on my page. I hope that you continue to come back. I’d LOVE to get to know your thoughts and you personally. If you leave a comment we can get to know one another.

I'm Crystal. I'm married to Dale, and mother to Johnny. Some might say that my life is perfect because I get to do all the cliché wife things like cooking, cleaning, and decorating - but there's more! I also have many hobbies including needlework (crochet), sewing, and reading. My son's education is important, so we homeschool him together.
