I have just finished this book in less than three days time. I haven’t done that in a LONG time now. This was a fantastic book. I knew it was going to be a good read, but I didn’t expect it to be one of those books that stays in my mind even when I am not reading it.

The Blaze series is a great set of books, and I am eagerly waiting on the next book. However, there wasn’t any mystery involved in it to keep me thinking about it after I put it down for the day. Mystery books have a way of doing that to me. I am analytical person who likes to figure things out and why people do them.

This book kept me on my toes from the start to the finish. I was very impressed with the authors twists and turns she gave her readers. I didn’t expect a lot of the things that happened in the book to take place. I was impressed with the author’s creativity on the consequences that the player had to deal with. I read so many unexpected scenarios. Just when I thought, I had it figured out… there’s be another kink put in the story.

I’ll let you read about this players consequences on your own, but I assure you this book is one worth picking up!! Even if you don’t like mysteries or young adult books, this one may change your opinion on that matter.

  1. What a great book review! It takes so many twists and turns and whets my appetite to see what the book’s about.

You say just enough to make me want more, but leave it a mystery too. It’s on my library book list now. . .

    • Believe me when I say it’s hard not to tell you even more. 🙂 I’m currently working on reading her Destiny book and it has me itching to pick it up and read it. It’s hard to get so much work done when I am dying to dive back into her book. (Hint: You can enter in a giveaway to win her Destiny series under my giveaway link-it’s a bit down on the page.) I am turning into a huge Laura DeLuca fan!!
