One Call Away by Brenda Warner

I enjoyed it from cover to cover!!! She wrote about all of the personal struggles her and her family had to endure from her early childhood all the way until the present time of her life.

It was amazing to read about a woman who was raised up in a standard (paycheck to paycheck) type of lifestyle to go to riches as an adult. However, she still has had to endure the regular and in some cases uniquely traumatic events of life. She talks about her faith in God, and how there were times that she sinned too.

This book inspired me to keep holding on to my dreams and to keep pushing forward. The author didn’t exactly make me think about my life per say because it was so interesting to read about her’s. Mind you, I’m normally the type of person who always thinks about how someone else’s situation can relate to my own life. I couldn’t think of a way in which I related to her life other than the bedridden part of her last pregnancy. Her book did make me grateful for healthy kids. I would say that this book is a good read for a Christian or even a nonbeliever. I recommend that you take the time to read this book!!

Have you read this book yet? If not, you need to add it to your to-be-read list.

I'm Crystal. I'm married to Dale, and mother to Johnny. Some might say that my life is perfect because I get to do all the cliché wife things like cooking, cleaning, and decorating - but there's more! I also have many hobbies including needlework (crochet), sewing, and reading. My son's education is important, so we homeschool him together.
