OH the Joys, of MUSIC…

I’ve stated a thousand times how much I love music. I’m not very good at playing instruments. I totally enjoy listening to music any chance I get. Zeva LOVES music just as much as I do. My boys sure do love to play around with them. My youngest loves organs and pianos with a passion. I have considered getting him a roland vk8 when he gets older. Hopefully by the time he’s old enough for it the organ will be cheaper. My oldest son loves guitars. My best friend has several guitars and the boys had a blast playing them with her.

Do your kids love music instruments?? Which one do they like to play?

I'm Crystal. I'm married to Dale, and mother to Johnny. Some might say that my life is perfect because I get to do all the cliché wife things like cooking, cleaning, and decorating - but there's more! I also have many hobbies including needlework (crochet), sewing, and reading. My son's education is important, so we homeschool him together.

  1. My husband is tone deaf and I love to sing in church but I’m not really musically inclined but we have produced a musically gifted child. Go figure! When we look back at family photos we should have known – he always played his little Fisher Price piano as a toddler and had a toy guitar that he carried around. In highschool he played several types of guitars – was in a “garage band” that played at all his highschool functions – and played tuba in his school’s marching band as well as for the local wing of the army band – one of two army bands in Canada that permit civilians to play. Now that he’s older he’s given up bands but is learning to play piano.

    • That’s quite interesting. Zeva has loved music since before she was born. She loves any toy that makes music too. Both boys enjoy it too, but her passion for it runs a lot deeper.
