Is Your Husband The Best??

A lady posted on her Facebook page that she was blessed because she had the best husband alive. I joked back with her that, “No, you don’t. I do.” I do declare Del out did himself today.

He got me a puppy for Christmas. (We had to get rid of Peppermint because she was overly jealous of Zeva, and that hurt me big time!!)

Snowball
Meet Snowball. She is only 8 weeks old, but she’s a little love bug.

She has already loved up on everyone here equally. She endured Zeva pulling on her by her hair and both of her ears. She is currently cuddling up next to me nice and calmly. She’s going to work out pretty well in our family from the way it looks. I dread the housetraining that comes with having her, but that’s a temporary discomfort to have a loyal companion in the house.

My husband also jumped in and helped me make our huge feast last night without me asking him to. He went grocery shopping with us. He’s such a remarkable man and I feel so blessed to be his wife. Right now, he has Zeva with him so that I can do my blogging. 🙂

I’ve also been wanting to tell you about a wonderful product that has been making dish washing more enjoyable. Now mind you, I’ve been a Dawn fan for all of my life. I have tried other brands throughout my life, but always went right back to Dawn. Well, I had the pleasure of trying out Palmolive® Fresh Infusions thanks to Influenster.

I also gave one of these bottles to one of my friends as well to try out. Between the two of us, we have determined that this dish soaps cleaning power out lasts our current brands. Plus the scent is very pleasant as well. I won’t say that it leaves my hands feeling overly soft and hydrated like Dawn does. However, comparing cleaning powers I have to say Palmolive does more dishes for the same amount of dish soap. Whereas, Dawn does still handle grease better than Palmolive.

However, I hand wash every dish I use, and being able to do more dishes with a sink full of hot water and soap matters a great deal to me. So, it truly depends on your needs and wants when comparing dish soaps. What reminded me about this review was the fact that I had dishes staring at me from every angle last night.

I hope this finds you doing well. What does your husband do to make you treasure him all the more?? Mine helps with the kids, cooking when it’s needed and sometimes just to give me a break, housework, and always makes me feel like I’m the most remarkable woman alive (even though we all know that’s the farthest thing from the truth.)

I'm Crystal. I'm married to Dale, and mother to Johnny. Some might say that my life is perfect because I get to do all the cliché wife things like cooking, cleaning, and decorating - but there's more! I also have many hobbies including needlework (crochet), sewing, and reading. My son's education is important, so we homeschool him together.

  1. Great post. My husband is a super nerd and that makes me treasure our love. I enjoyed this soap too when I tested it. The Lime was my favorite one to use and I am so sad its all gone.
