Thanks to Flyby Promotion I had the privilege of reviewing the book Alone Yet Not Alone: Their faith became their freedom. I also have the honor of giving one lucky reader the chance to win a copy for themselves too.

My Take On The Book:
I personally was quite pleased to have had the chance to read this book. It was a heart warming reminder that God is with us even in the darkest hours of our lives. We don’t always see through the pain the good that he is bringing into our lives. This book reminds us that as long as we keep the faith that he will stand beside us and make our lives richer as a result.
I feel like, although an 8 year old could appreciate this book depending on their maturity level, that this more suited for 12 years and older readers. I also feel that it is a perfect addition to add to a history lesson plan. It gives the feeling of a real life scenario of something that could have happened.
I am looking forward to seeing the movie in September. I hope that the movie is able to capture the emotions that the book gave the readers.
