“Absence makes the heart grow fonder.” by Sextus Propertius
Well, life has been taking many twists and turns lately. Our new contract is not working out the way that we had originally hoped it would. However, I do believe that God will provide a way for us to make ends meet. He has not failed in giving us what we needed when we needed it. He may not always bless us with everything we want, but we have not gone without the things that we need. I will forever hold onto that faith.
Our baby seems to have finally settled down because I have not been as sick as much. Of course, I have been taking it more easy when I start to feel rough. So, my husband has limited me to about 2-3 hours of activity a day. After that he starts to get upset when I do something physical. That’s only because he cares so much about the baby and me. Friday night we had a date night. We went to Applebee’s, and I will tell you now, I will NEVER go back to the one here in my town again!!! That was terrible service and the only thing I enjoyed was the steak, and it wasn’t even worth writing home about. It was just a bad experience, and what makes it bad is my husband didn’t want to go there because the one and only other time he’d been there it was a bad atmosphere and bad food. However, he went because I’ve been wanting to go.
We went to Kmart and looked at cribs, playpens, and strollers. Del can’t wait for this baby. He’s made it extremely clear that if it’s a girl that it has to have girl colors on her stuff. He’s such a tough guy, but he is one excited man!! 🙂
However, we then went to see a movie in our SMALL movie theater here in our town, which we normally don’t go to this one, but since I didn’t think I could handle a long drive to the one we normally go to, we went to our local one. We saw the movie Fast Five. It was an amazing movie. I enjoyed every minute of it. It was worth us going to see it!!
Then yesterday we went to the flea market and to Ryan’s. We also got some groceries. They boys were well behaved while we were in town. We also went to Blockbuster to get me some movies so that I could lay down and relax. The boys and I watched the movie Romania and Beevus. It was a cute movie that was filled with several laughs and me, being Miss Sensitive, a few tears as well.
Today so far we’ve gone to the flea market yet again to talk to the lady that we got Peppermint from to see if she is going to have anymore puppies soon. Del already wants to get a puppy for the baby that way she has a puppy grow up with her too. However, I told Del it would be better to wait until after the baby is born and a little bit older. He’s already wanting to spoil this baby, and it’s not even born yet.
We also ate at Ihop. I was glad we went. We all got fully full and had wonderful service. I also got my newspapers to get my coupons ready for our next grocery shopping adventure. 🙂
I have my school work started for the week. I’m not to excited about this class, but I’ve managed to squeak my way through the last class like this one so I feel I’ll be able to do it again. I got my grades back from my last two classes and I got a C (:( ) and a B. So, some how I have to make an A in this class to keep my GPA at a reasonable level.
Well, I’ve rambled enough. 🙂 Just an average weekend here. I’ve got more movies to watch and coupons to organize and get ready. Plus the boys are helping me to conquer the lovely task of laundry. Hope this finds you doing well.
