Well, I finally got to have a baby shower. My hostess didn’t get the chance to send the invitations out until a week until the shower. However, even if she had sent them off a long time ago, I don’t think anymore people would have showed up. I got to enjoy time with my close friends and laugh and talk about our experiences with our babies/kids. I was able to focus on all that came for the event too. I got a lot more gifts than I expected by a long shot. We got some great wonderful gifts, including some that I wouldn’t have thought about getting. 🙂 That’s what is so great about a baby shower.
This weekend, hubby and I got to do a lot of window shopping and spend time together out and about. Let me tell you, I am extremely tired. 🙂 I had a lady at one of the stores look extremely shocked to find out I was eight months pregnant. Then the ladies at the shower said, I didn’t look pregnant. It’s a compliment for sure, but it also amazes me because to me I definitely look and feel pregnant. Of course, my husband says, I’m bigger than he’s ever seen me.
I finally got a laptop, and have forgotten how nice it is to be able to curl up comfortably with it and be able to do stuff on it and watch tv, and be in the same room with my hubby and boys. 🙂 I am loving it!! I do declare, I don’t think I want to go back to a desktop again. However, my oldest boy will love using my desktop. 🙂
Zeva has been quite active today, but not to the point that I’m worried. 🙂 She is definitely growing quickly. I literally am able to feel her feet and hands and even toes with complete ease. 🙂 It’s such an amazing thing to go through this experience.
Little Del and Jimmy are excited about her arrival. Little Del wants her NOW. He claims she’s coming within the next day. Jimmy seems to be preparing himself for her being the center of attention because he’s grabbing as much attention as he can now, just like he did when Little Del was due to arrive. However, now he’s doing it even more so. I guess he learned what it was like for the new arrival last time. He’s so eager to have a sister though, he doesn’t seem to care. 🙂
Well, I’ve rambled enough. I hope everyone has a good weekend.
