Wolfenstein: The New Order PS4 Review

I was NOT given this game for free to review in exchange for a blog post. This is just me giving my honest opinion. I did include affiliate links, so if you do click on them then I will earn a small commission at no expense to you.

Wolfenstein: The New Order PS4

From Amazon:
  • The Assault – Experience intense first-person combat as you go up against oversized Nazi robots, hulking Super Soldiers and elite shock troops ? all rendered in stunning detail with the id Tech 5 engine
  • The Action – Wolfenstein’s breath-taking set pieces feature intense mountain-top car chases, underwater exploration, player-controlled Nazi war machines, and much more ? all combined to create an exhilarating action-adventure experience
  • The Arsenal – Collect ultra-advanced Nazi-tech Break into secret research facilities and heavily guarded weapon stashes to upgrade your tools of destruction
  • The Adventure – Hi-octane action and thrilling adventure weaved together into a tightly paced, super immersive game narrative

I got this one player game on last Tuesday and started playing it Tuesday night and finished it Thursday night without continuous play. The first thing I had to do was download the 5 GB patch for it.

The vocals during game play are a little hard to hear due to getting over powered by background sounds. I recommend turning subtitles on for everything.

The graphics are good. The controls are very responsive on the PS4. Interfaces are good. Another words, very easy to pick up and manipulate things when needed.

At a quick run through not going to far out of your way, it is easy to obtain 30% completion.

The ending could been a little different. I knew what it was before it happened. Maybe, if they had added an alternative ending it would have been better.
