Watch and Cuddle With Netflix

This is my favorite time of year because I watch shows from my favorite TV channels, but I also take advantage of plenty of shows on Netflix. Netflix has come out with new shows for everyone in my family this past month. We been quite grateful for the ability to watch and cuddle with Netflix as one of our primary sources of entertainment. We dug into the new series that Netflix gave us from October and November.

October New Series

Mr. Peabody and Sherman – 10/9

In their new show, Mr. Peabody and Sherman host a zany late-night comedy show from a swanky penthouse, with time-traveling guests and a live audience!

Designed for ages 5-7

This is a cute show. I rather enjoy watching it with the kids because I find that it is a bit educational and I like how they make it engaging for the kids to learn these bits of history.

Popples

Popples is a high-energy comedy series about an amazing species of creatures that can pop into and out of  a ball. The story is driven by the optimistic comedic enthusiasm of the BPP’s (Best Popple Pals): Bubbles, Sunny, Lulu, Izzy, and Yikes. Always wanting to help their friends, neighbors and each other, their efforts often times backfire in hilarious ways and they must spend the rest of the episode trying to unwind the mayhem they’ve caused. Luckily they always manage to save the day in their own POP-tastic way!

This is a show that your little kids are sure to enjoy watching. It keeps the kids entertained and happy while they are watching it. I have to admit I think they characters are just darn right cute. After we got our kit from Netflix, Zeva and Delbert fell in love with the Popples even more. Zeva takes hers with everywhere she can.

November New Series

Care Bears and Cousins

High above the World Below, floating on a bed of clouds is the wonderful land of Care-a-Lot. Care-A-Lot is inhabited by the most special and caring of creature- the Care Bears: Tenderheart, Wonderheart, Cheer, Grumpy, Share, Funshine, and Harmony. And joining them are the Care Bear Cousins! Brave Heart Lion, Bright Heart Raccoon, Lotsa Heart Elephant, and Cozy Heart Penguin have been gone from Care-A-Lot for a LONG time because Tenderheart sent the Care Crew on a quest to sail above the World Below on the Cloud Clipper to collect lost Care Hearts. Care Hearts float up from Earth whenever caring act occurs. Most Care Hearts naturally make their way to the Share Cloud. But those that don’t-the lost Care Hearts- need to be collected and deposited into the Share Cloud. The Share Cloud needs a constant supply of Care Hearts in it in order to keep Care-A-Lot from fading away. But just recently, the Share Cloud has dragged the Cloud Clipper back, quite literally, to Care-A-Lot. And the Cousins are happy to be back home!

I grew up watching Care Bears and collecting all the different bears. I was thrilled to have the chance to share this series with Zeva. Although she likes it, it doesn’t compete against Popples and My Little Pony for her.

The Seven Deadly Sins

When a kingdom is taken over by tyrants, the deposed princess begins a quest to find a disbanded group of evil knights to help take back her realm.
Anime Action

Del LOVES anime shows! He wishes Netflix would get even more of them. He JUMPED at the chance to watch this series the first day it came out. He got hooked quickly! He said that it is a pretty decent series and he is eager to see more.

Netflix is striving to add more shows for their members. I hope you get the chance to check out these

What kind of shows do you wish they would get more of? Do you have a particular series in mind for them to get?

Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Netflix, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
