As a former lifeguard, I respect how much work is involved in maintaining a community pool. I can remember having to arrive to work an hour earlier than opening to ensure that the PH balance was just right, temperature was well maintained, and the water level were just right.
In the northern states, having a rheem heat pump isn’t overly important. As a small child, my Dad use to take us all over the place for various vacations. One of my favorite memories was a stop we made in Virginia. The hotel there kept their pool just right regardless of the temperature outside. I can remember swimming way into the late night hours with my Dad watching me proudly. Swimming has always been a love of mine. I use to get excited over going to hotels with lazy rivers.
Our dream vacationHang, I’m an adult, and still have a strong desire to go see Great Wolf Lodge in NC. If we ever get the funds together to do it, I will definitely make that trip. I told Del I’d love for him to join us, but if he doesn’t it’s one place I’d take the kids to without him since it’s only a three-hour trip away from us. I’d take lots of pictures!! Just thinking about that dream vacation the kids and I have makes me itch to go.
Do you have a dream vacation?
Our dream vacation would be a road trip from South Carolina to Maine (each of us has already seen enough of Georgia and Florida), or a cross-country road trip.
My husband wants to take our big truck and do a road trip across the United States as well. So, he’d definitely agree with you on the perfect trip. 🙂
