The Blog Dare…If I Don’t Back Out…

I have decided to try something different this month. I have not been writing as many of MY posts in so long that I have grown to miss it. I still have a lot of promotions coming in December, but I want to do something fun too with my writing. I hope you’ll enjoy reading them throughout the month of December.

I’m taking on The Blog Dare from Bloggy Moms.

 If I Don’t Back Out…

The first prompt for this month’s dare is If I don’t back out…

So many things came to mind for me because I have a lot of irons in the fire right now. Both Del and I have major plans for 2014 concerning where we want our life to be. We have big changes in store to take place provided… I don’t back out.

I want to start offering more services via the grand world-wide web. I’ve been learning a lot about different things in the past almost three years. I’ve found that there are many different things I can be doing to earn money that are fairly simple. People need things promoted all across the Internet. I have many resources saved up to do that.

People need help creating a basic website… I can do that. People need a place to advertise, and I offer that on this blog. Del is able to do some web design as well.

If I don’t back out then I’m confident that 2014 will be a good year for us.

If I don’t back out… I will promote my own Instant Rewards Network more because I know it works and believe in it.

The Blog Dare Challenge Day One

If I don’t back out… I’ll be able to share the things on my mind and also promote things for companies. I LOVE doing product reviews. I love writing sponsored content. However, I don’t WANT this blog to be all about that.

My personal blog posts are getting lost behind all of the sponsored content on that I’ve been doing lately. I don’t like it, and my readers are wondering where it is. So, I have to figure out how to bring an even mix of it to my front page. So, that is definitely on my to do a list in the VERY NEAR future. Unfortunately though, there are only so many hours in a day and only one of me. Since my computer is currently in the shop getting fixed, I’m stuck at a desk again. I can’t stand it anymore!!!

I love being able to go outside with my kids and watch them play while I work. I love being able to sit in the man cave with my husband and get glimpses of him playing his new PS4 and XBOX One games. I especially feel like I’m missing out on watching Knack because we are all huge fans of that game. I’m going to sneak to play it before it’s all said and done.

If I don’t back out…I’m going to do more video reviews and videos in general for 2014. I’m going to let you get to know us as more than just the writers of Tidbits of Experience. I want  you to know us on a personal level. Videos definitely make you know us better.

If I don’t back out… 2014 will be a better year. 2014 will be the year in which I come out of my ‘crab shell.” I have big plans, big hopes, and even bigger dreams. I just back out far more than I should! I’m always right there at the finish line and then I turn tail and go around the track all over again because I trust it. I don’t trust what will happen once I cross over that finish line.

If I don’t back out..I’ll finish this dare until the end.

What would happen if YOU don’t back out??

  1. I can really appreciate this post because I’ve felt like I’ve been in a blogging rut lately with so much going on in my life. I need to get back into the swing of things, so if I don’t back out I hope to be more intentional about my posts and not just posting things for the sake of throwing something up on the blog just so something is there if that makes sense.

    • That makes perfect sense. I’ve made that mistake many times over. I am in the process of trying to produce more quality content too.

Thank you for stopping by and commenting.

  2. I understand what you mean about sponsored blog posts taking over. I have big ideas and then I get overwhelmed. Would love to be more intentional and focus on better time management so I can fit in more of what I want to do. Good luck!

    • Thank you for the good luck wishes. I’m trying to get it together that’s for sure. It’s hard though when I’m juggling these wild kids and other things all day long by myself mostly. However, the Lord will provide the way if it’s meant to happen.

Thank you for the support and comment.

    • Thank you for the vote of confidence. I’m glad that you’ll be with me throughout 2014. Your support means far more than I can express!
