Dusting Off Some Good Books To Read Again

Just like there are some really good movies that are worth watching over and over, there are some books that deserve the same attention too. As a I was going through some of my old posts trying to edit them to make them more appealing and easier to read, I was reminded of some really awesome books that made me stop and think about life. There were also a few that were just darn right good to read over a spring/summer break.

Without further ado…

I had a review done, but it was too small to keep. [easyazon_image align=”center” height=”500″ identifier=”1401684947″ locale=”US” src=”https://www.tidbitsofexperience.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/51jspxZk7JL.jpg” tag=”tidbitofexp-20″ width=”328″]

  1. Great book list Crystal. I love it when bloggers write about the older books that they’ve enjoyed. Sometimes it seems like everyone is writing about the latest release and the posts all sound the same.

    • I agree that it’s sometimes hard to find book suggestions of books that have been out on the market for a long time. I haven’t read a current book out in a long time. I have THOUSANDS of books on my account with Amazon. I’ve literally started to feel guilty for going to the library to get my hands on the new books.
Thank you so much for stopping by and commenting. I hope to see you again soon.

    • Wow. That is a long time to go without reading a good book. I love the way a good book can help me escape my realities of my life here (even if my kids are screaming and being loud while they are playing all around me.) I hope you get the chance to make time for a good book. These are some really great suggestions, but if you don’t see your type of book listed here chances are high I have a recommendation for your favorite genre.

  5. I think I read Jillian Michael’s Mastering Your Metabolism a million times! I love hearing about older books also- it seems all the reviews are on the newest out there. 🙂

    • I tried to read that book, but it was filled with a lot of scientific stuff that I couldn’t wrap my head around. I can see why you’ve read it a million times. I would have had to read it that many times to understand everything she was saying. Of course, she’s VERY knowledgeable on the topic, and it’s quite educational. I am a fan of Jillian’s work! I would say it’s worth reading. Thanks for the added suggestion.

  7. Interesting choices! I like the plotline of the epistolary novel, it’s from a different perspective and not from the trenches. And the other book, is there really a town called Smitten in Vermont? 🙂

    • I’m not sure if there is a town named Smitten in Vermont. I never looked it up. I did find this website based around the book that I didn’t even know was there. 🙂 Now I have to find a way to get the rest of the books!! See what you caused, now I get to be even more nosey about the townspeople of Smitten, VT once I can get my hands on the rest of the books. LOL.
