Finding family friendly movies is a task and a half anymore when you’re checking out new releases. I should know since I get a vast majority of the new releases every week that come out. My kids love reviewing movies for the blog, and when Paramount offered us the chance to review the new Charlie Brown series and Gladiators of Rome we were thrilled.
New Charlie Brown Series
I grew up watching Charlie Brown as a kid. I love the fact that I get to pass on that tradition with my kids. In the new series Charlie Brown goes to camp. It’s an adventure like no other for the characters. They take on challenges against other campers doing things like dealing with “wild weather, bullies, and raging rapids.”

The kids enjoyed watching [easyazon_link identifier=”B00PIVKAE2″ locale=”US” tag=”tidbitofexp-20″]Race for Your Life, Charlie Brown[/easyazon_link]. They literally watched this show several times too since the weather here was unusually and cold and rainy the day we got it. They enjoyed watching Snoopy and Woodstock take on these challenges. They walked away from the movie determined to work together as a team.
Gladiators of Rome
When we first saw the preview for the movie [easyazon_link identifier=”B00PZ6TW3U” locale=”US” tag=”tidbitofexp-20″]Gladiators of Rome[/easyazon_link] we were all eager to see this movie. It looked hilariously funny for the whole family. We weren’t wrong. “This movie is about Timo, a student at the Gladiator’s Academy in Rome, who has no desire to become a legendary gladiator like his stepfather.” There is enough humor for both the adults and the kids alike. It’s an action packed animated adventure.
